Project Overview

A Bluetooth audio receiver accepts wireless audio transmitted from a paired device and converts it into analogue left and right audio signals.

The analogue outputs can be connected directly to a preamplifier, tone control, audio mixer or power amplifier.

Many Bluetooth receiver modules also include automatic pairing, playback buttons and status LEDs.

How the Circuit Works

When powered, the Bluetooth module enters pairing mode and waits for a nearby Bluetooth-enabled device.

After pairing, the module receives digital audio wirelessly and converts it to analogue stereo signals using its built-in digital-to-analogue converter (DAC).

The left and right outputs are then connected to an amplifier or other audio equipment.
